My Santa Cruz Adventure (4/4) https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2018/5/my-santa-cruz-adventure-4/4 Museum

I know what you're thinking...."finally!"

I do apologize for taking so long to post the last part of our photo-adventure, I do hope you enjoy this post and I'm also throwing in a lil' video I had fun making from this trip.

On our last adventure of the trip we visited the Seymour Marine Discovery Center.

Sea life is so cool to me, look at these lil babies!!

Sea Nettle - Chrysaora Fuscescens

Moon Jelly - Aurelia Aurita

Swell Shark Egg - Cephaloscyllium Ventriosum

This egg was laid on October 2017 with an estimated hatch date between July 2018 and October 2018.

Their gestation period is 9 - 12 months, depending on water temperature.

How cool!

Now for the video I promised.

Turn your sound on if you please :-)

My Santa Cruz Adventure (3/4) https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2018/3/my-santa-cruz-adventure-3/4 Boardwalk

As we headed out towards the boardwalk, we quickly realized we were alone...

By some chance of luck, fate, or our lack of planning this trip, we got the best surprise we could've hoped for...

A COMPLETELY empty boardwalk.

Talk about opportunity.

Giddy with excitement we grabbed at our cameras and set forth. Naturally, we weren't trying to get arrested for trespassing so we stayed within our bounds, but what a treat it was.

My Santa Cruz Adventure (2/4) https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2018/2/my-santa-cruz-adventure-2/4 Street Views

This city truly is a unique place.

Just walking down the streets of downtown there were so many opportunities for interesting photographs.

Here I share with you what I saw from just a small part of this strangely beautiful place.

My Santa Cruz Adventure (1/4) https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2018/2/my-santa-cruz-adventure-1/4 A few weeks ago, I found my self in Santa Cruz.

On a short overnight trip, I decided to give this city a second chance as my last visit was far from great - to the point where I swore up and down that I'd never visit again.... Until my partner, who has a much less dramatic view on life, convinced me to give it another go. Needless to say we had a lovely time, and an even better photography adventure.

This is part 1 of 4 that I will be blogging about, we found this adorable farmers market and couldn't put our cameras down.

Enjoy!

Multi-Frame Imaging https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2018/1/multi-frame-imaging Ok, so I've become obsessed with Multi-Frame Imaging.

Last semester (Fall 2017), one of my professors introduced me to the magic that comes with creating one big awesome image out of 10 or more sequential images, and my little crafty heart began to sing. I mean, it's just like a collage - but with MY photographs. An idea immediately popped into my head, and I set out to scout a location and find the perfect model, which thankfully wasn't too hard since I had the perfect gal in mind.

I created three different multi-frame images all from separate sets of photographs, and let me tell you, I had SO much fun.

I've also created 3 contact sheets with all the photos taken in order to create these 3 images. As you can see, each image consisted of a different set of images - which makes this process so unique!

And thus, my obsession was born.... here's my latest multi frame image!

This one is really exciting for me because the dimensions on this are huge - 26x24 inches huge! I've never printed so large, and I can't wait to see how it turns out!!!

And of course, a contact sheet to go with it. :-)

I really hope you enjoyed this blog, check my instagram, facebook or website often for info about new blog postings!

See ya soon, xx

I had such a blast shooting with these two!

I used my Nikon D5200 with a 50mm prime lens.

Here's a few photos from the shoot that I just loved!

Aren't these two love birds just the CUTEST?!

"Serve Somebody" Project https://www.agolosna.com/blog/2017/11/-serve-somebody-project Women's Empowerment

"The Get A Job Kit"

Over the recent holiday, I spent my time photographing a project for Women's Empowerment to help them launch their website for December 11th, 2017. It was an awesome opportunity to be able to be a part of this organization and I'm very excited to see how their website turns out! If you don't know much about Women's Empowerment - it is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate and empower women who are homeless by providing them with the skills and confidence necessary in order to secure a job, create a healthy lifestyle and regain a home for themselves and their children.

Their newest edition of "The Get A Job Kit" is where I come in. I was asked to do some product photography for this kit which contains everything that you need in order to get interviews, secure the job, and thrive in it. For the first time, it will be available for the general public to purchase once the site launches, and all of the proceeds will go to paying the women assembeling the kits to develop job skills!

The entirety of the kit.

Update!

Their website launched and it's so beyond exciting to see my work posted! You can see and purchase the Get A Job Kit at:
